Customer testimonials are some of the most powerful marketing assets available to marketers, in fact 90% of consumers admit their buying decisions are influenced by online reviews. So when faced with the challenge to prove the capability of the Great Wall Steed 4x4 vehicles documenting the stories of existing Steed owners was the perfect choice for our client.
Tactics that drives results
We enlisted the help of researched Stephanie Holmes (now director of SHE Business Solutions) to track down and find 6 customers who's lives have been transformed by owning their Great Wall. Steph found 7 perfect customers who use their vehicles daily for their work and as a capable family vehicle too. We spent a day with each of the 7 customers, visiting them at their work seeing how their Great Wall Steed helps them with their day to day tasks. As well as interviewing each of the customers we captured plenty of b-roll to be used to visually show the capabilities of the Great Wall.
Photography that sells
In addition to our video testimonials our photographer also captured a ‘hero’ lifestyle shot of each owner and their vehicle to be used as an attention grabbing video thumbnail as well as used on Social Media & PR articles to promote the video testimonials.
Over 80k combined video views on Great Wall Motor UK’s Facebook using targeted native video that saw a rise in brand awareness and without doubt helped make purchase decisions that sold many more Great Walls who now have their very own Steed Stories to tell.
